The magical moment you've waited for since childhood
You hear the pitter-patter of excited feet as your sleigh pulls up to a small cabin in the woods, stacked full of gifts, treats and presents. Your children will be full of joy as they meet him firsthand, with Father Christmas knowing their names and how well-behaved they’ve been this year. (Don’t worry, even the naughtiest of children will get a gift.)
The festive meeting is a magical, unforgettable moment for both children and adults whilst on holiday in Lapland. And it should be noted that we’ve gone the extra mile by getting Santa to work over the entire festive period, as famously he usually only works one day a year, so we’re truly making miracles happen here. So yes, it’s safe to say that no family holiday to the Arctic Circle would be complete without an exclusive meet-and-greet with Father Christmas himself. And no need to bring him a mince pie, he’s sufficiently catered for.
Whether you opt for an action-packed Winter Wonderland day trip or wish to relax and take in the gorgeous snow-covered scenery on a short break, we want you to enjoy every last moment. The best spots do book up quickly, so we do advise you to book early if you can. And don’t forget to check out our Offers page – as sometimes we have free and half-price child places available on select dates.

Be chill... and properly prepared for your visit!
Temperatures in Lapland can dive to a very chilly -40°C, so it is essential that visitors pack the right kit. Clothing must not only keep you warm for short stints but also prolonged periods in the cold (think snowmobiling or watching the Northern Lights). Your hands and feet will thank you later!
Simple layering with the right materials is key. Avoid cotton as it soaks up moisture, which in turn will make you damp and cold. Aim for Merino wool where possible – this is cosy, comfortable and warm. A base layer, wool jumper and fleece are ideal for up top, before adding your thermal suit, gloves, neck-warmer and hat with earflaps. And don’t forget one or two pairs of thick woolly socks. The cold is perfectly comfortable as long as you are prepared.
